To better serve you and to stay safe at Camp Avalon, please review these rules and guidelines.

Prior to camping, all adults will be asked to consent to a waiver conditional to your stay
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM through 6:00 AM. We ask that all campers be considerate of others enjoying the grounds
The number of camping units per campsite varies, please check with the camp manager for special inquiries
Please deposit all trash into the provided waste receptacles, or take it with you when you leave. Pack it in, pack it out
An irrigation ditch as well as Oak Creek runs through the property, please supervise children closely
Help to prevent pollution. Keep litter and foreign substances out of the Creek or other waters
Bathing and washing of clothes or diapers in the Creek is strictly prohibited
Please note we are a family campground. Public nudity is strictly prohibited.
Running generators is prohibited
Firearms, drugs and alcohol are prohibited on the campground
Children under 12 years old must be supervised at all times
Fires may be prohibited at certain times of the year, or in certain climate conditions. Please obey any restrictions on camp fires
Fires are only permitted in the designated fire rings provided for that purpose
Do not leave your fire unattended. You are responsible for keeping the fire under control
When leaving the campground, be sure that your fire is completely extinguished
Fireworks and other explosives are prohibited from the campgrounds and recreation areas
Pets & Assisting Animals
Dogs on leashes and certified assisting animals are the only pets allowed on the campground. Animals must be on a leash at all times
The camp manager must be informed if you are camping with a furry friend
Because of space limitations, assisting animals will likely not fit in the current sanitary facilities. New facilities are being constructed. No other animals are allowed in the facilities
Animal waste must be cleaned up and properly disposed of by owners
Do not leave your animals unattended at any time
Public Property & Services
Several historical buildings are still maintained on the campground. Do not tamper with or vandalize these buildings in any way
Do not cut, carve, chop or damage any trees
Leave the campgrounds the way you found them
Fresh drinking water and porta potties are available on the campgrounds
Currently, there are no showers available at the campground
Cellphone service is limited in this area, but so is noise and light pollution!
The camp manager reserves the right to refuse further service without refund to individuals who break these rules.
Any Camp Avalon reservation made through our online reservation system may be canceled up to 24 hours before the reservation date. Reservations may be canceled by submitting the details of your cancellation request through our online contact form on our website. Make sure to include the email you used to make the reservation or we will be unable to process your cancellation request. No refunds are issued for acts of nature, unfavorable weather conditions, or for cancellation requests submitted less than 24 hours before the reservation date.
General Waiver & Release Form
The undersigned understands that camping and related activities can be a dangerous activity, especially when camping in the vicinity of a flowing creek and that accident, injury or death may result from such activities. I take full responsibility for all my actions and also waive, release and hold harmless CAMP AVALON, its owners, officers and directors, employees, agents, licensees and invitees, as well as CAMP AVALON staff and campsite owners (hereinafter referred to as “CAMP AVALON”) from and against any costs, fees, expenses, liabilities or claims, whether legal or medical, arising from any conduct or activity of CAMP AVALON or its effects, including but not limited to injury, death, theft or other liability, regardless of any act or omission from CAMP AVALON.
As a material part of the consideration to use the facilities at CAMP AVALON, the undersigned hereby assumes all risks of injury to my person or damage to my property arising from any cause related to camping or using the facilities at CAMP AVALON, whether known or unknown, whether expected or unexpected, whether related to water, air, wind, fire, weather, heat, cold or other causes or other camp participants. I am also waiving the benefits of any state, federal or local laws that may allow protection against unknown or unanticipated claims, damages, liabilities or other actions, whether contractual, tortious or statutory in nature. I hereby waive and release, indemnify, save and hold harmless CAMP AVALON from and against all claims, causes and liabilities against CAMP AVALON.
